From 2021 to 2022. Cool flip-up lens sunglasses I Metronome Design Staff

Hello, this is OKD from METRONOME-Tokyo Online, the official Japanese online shopping site of METRONOME DESIGN INC., Which sells "METRONOME®", a fashionable eyeglasses and sunglasses brand that started in London.


This shop was born in response to the voice that "I want to go buy but I can't go far". I am deeply grateful for the orders received not only from the Tokyo metropolitan area but from all over Japan. (Probably more orders from outside the metropolitan area!)


Can you tell about the size, texture of the frame, color, etc. at the online shop? We continue to challenge a kind of taboo. Every day, all the staff will work hard to become an online shop for eyeglasses / sunglasses that is easier to use, albeit little by little.


By the way, as our designers had foreseen, clear frames have been gaining popularity since the latter half of 2021. Not limited to our shop, clear type is often recommended.

Many clear glasses have already appeared at overseas eyeglass / sunglasses exhibitions, but with a slight delay, signs of their fashion have begun to appear in Japan as well.


And, speaking of the trend of 2021, I want you to see the "jump-up"! The flip-up design that flips the lens up, this is pretty cool. There is also a functional aspect that prevents anti-fog, but above all, the feeling when it is flipped up is "fun". The Summer Rain [METRONOME 2021] in the photo below is a product that has received many requests even at overseas exhibitions, saying "I want to buy it here and go home!".

I want you to know how this glue is! There is no choice but to say (my vocabulary orz) because you can change the focus without putting it on and off, so you don't have to put it on and off!


What's more, unlike this summer rain and normal flip-up lenses, you can operate the left and right lenses respectively. Beta titanium is used, so I don't think you'll be worried about the weight.
